Another baby post. Rereading this quote tonight has given me pause.

Kindness lives on

So here I am writing about kindness again. Guess I just had to get away from the old blog to get back in touch with my inner kindness.\

Before I go any further...  I want to thank Sunshine Buttercup-NCPI (Name Changed to Protect the Innocent.) She has always been  a loving kind friend. We are like sisters. We even kind of look alike!

I really need to thank her for calling me Sunday to let me know that her son, the magnificent KidMasterJ-NCPI, was available to spend a little pool time with Brian and I at a neighbor's house. We had a blast and I am now sporting my very own personal 10-year-old-boy bruise on my upper left arm. AWESOME.

I also need to thank my good friend, Athena-NCPI, a community college teacher. She is a warrior teaching our future film makers at a very basic level. She works tirelessly to give them an introduction to the industry. Her final exams and projects are epic. One student titled her DVD final, "Athena is trying to kill me. " We laughed! Extra points for humor!

Thanks to Athena... for letting me help her grade the final exams. I now know the meaning of the following film industry acronyms: fps, SFX, VO, NLE, PSA, kHg. dB, RT, TC, dpi, HD, SD, DV, VTR, VCR, ADR and on and on and on... Do you?

Athena is now sleeping on my couch... we have a day left to finish up! Some day I am gonna be able to say that I graded an up and coming film maker's 100 level projects!

OK... now... about kindness. How about a man who loves you no matter what you do? Loves you no matter what you DON"T do. Never says no to a friend in need? Would give anyone the shirt off his back? A man, a real man, who would pick a booger out of his wife's nose?

How about that?

Kill Them With Kindness lost it's way. Getting visits from all points in the world intimidated me and I felt as though I had a responsibility to demonstrate what it means to "kill them with kindness" when all I wanted to do was give praise while bitching, push love towards the haters, dance naked behind my 6ft. block wall and just be me.

Plus half my friends on facebook could give a shit about what I am up to day to day.
